The CAZNA Stop Ball System is a premium sports infrastructure solution designed for facilities requiring effective ball containment without the limitations of a permanently raised netting structure.
Suitable for sports grounds, schools, universities, stadiums, golf facilities, recreation centres and multi-sport venues, the system can be configured to help protect spectator areas, neighbouring playing fields, buildings, car parks, pathways and other surrounding areas from stray sporting balls.
At the heart of the system are reinforced 80mm OD aluminium posts, finished in a durable black powder coating for a professional appearance and long-term outdoor performance. Posts are installed into 900mm-deep aluminium ground sockets, allowing them to be securely positioned during use while remaining removable when the system is no longer required.
Post heights of 3.7m, 6m and 8m above ground provide options for different sporting applications and site requirements.
A purpose-designed pulley, cleat and hauling rope system allows the netting to be raised and lowered without removing the entire structure. Lowering the net when it is not required can help reduce unnecessary wind loading while opening sightlines across the facility.
One of the major advantages of the CAZNA Stop Ball System is the ability to specify the netting according to the sporting application and ball size.
Multiple mesh and twine configurations are available for sports ranging from football, rugby and basketball through to cricket, tennis, baseball, lacrosse and golf. This allows each system to be configured around the actual requirements of the facility rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all netting solution.
The netting is manufactured from durable HDPE or HDPP material, depending on the selected configuration, with rot-resistant and UV-treated properties suitable for demanding Australian outdoor environments.
Whether required behind a goal, around a training area, beside a sports field or as part of a larger facility development, Cazna Sports can configure the post height, netting specification, system length and layout to suit the project.
For facilities requiring professional ball containment combined with flexibility, durability and a clean architectural appearance, the CAZNA Stop Ball System provides a highly adaptable sports infrastructure solution.

Cazna Sports is Australia’s Sporting Infrastructure Solutions Provider, supplying professional sports netting and facility infrastructure solutions for schools, universities, councils, government organisations, sporting clubs, stadiums and professional venues.
Rather than treating ball-stop netting as an off-the-shelf product, Cazna Sports can assist with system height, netting specification, layout and project configuration based on the sporting application and individual facility requirements.
From individual backstop systems through to larger custom sporting infrastructure projects, our focus is on delivering practical, durable solutions designed around how the facility will actually be used.
Delivery times vary depending on system configuration, manufacturing requirements and project scope. Typical lead times range from 2–8 weeks, although custom-manufactured systems may require additional production time.
